Mr. Vellayan held various positions in the Murugappa Group in the past. Mr. Vellayan has been conferred Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) by Aston University, UK. Mr. Vellayan has done his Bachelors in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi, Diploma in Industrial Administration from Aston University, UK and Masters in Business Studies from University of Warwick Business School, UK. Mr. Vellayan has vast experience in Fertilisers Business, General Management and Financial Planning.

Mr. Arun Alagappan (45 years) is the Executive Vice Chairman of the Company. Mr. Alagappan was the Managing Director of Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited, prior to joining Coromandel International Limited. He holds directorship in various other companies.

Mr. Arun Alagappan started his career with GE Capital Services India in 1997. After a two-year stint with GE, he joined the Murugappa Group in 1999 in Parryware (part of EID Parry India Ltd.). Between 2005 to 2017, he served in Tube Products of India heading various divisions and eventually took over as Business Head of TI Cycles. In August 2017, Mr. Alagappan was appointed as Executive Director of Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited and subsequently took over as the Managing Director of the company in November 2019.

Mr. Alagappan is acknowledged as a thought leader in the Bicycle Industry and the NBFC Industry. He has done his Graduation in Commerce from the University of Madras and completed the 'Owner President/Management Program' from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Ramesh K.B. Menon (60 years) leads the People function at Murugappa Group. He is also responsible and drives the Health and Safety initiatives across the Group. Mr. Menon holds directorship in Tube Investments of India Limited and E.I.D. Parry (I) Limited. Mr. Menon is a Science graduate from Jaihind College, Mumbai and an alumnus of XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Mr. M M Venkatachalam graduated from the University of Agricultural Sciences in Bangalore and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from George Washington University, USA. He has held senior positions in the Murugappa Group of Companies spanning a period of two and a half decades. Mr Venkatachalam is presently the Chairman of Parry Agro Industries Limited. He also serves on the boards ofRamco Cements Ltd., Parry Agro Industries Ltd., Parry Murray Limited and Ramco Systems Ltd.

Mr. Prasad Chandran has graduated in Chemistry (Honors) from Bombay University and MBA from University Business School Chandigarh. He had advanced management education in Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, and AOTS from Tokyo University, Japan. He has opted to superannuate after thirty seven years of corporate life, of which the last 13 years was as Chairman & Managing Director of BASF India Limited. He is an independent director on the Board of Bosch India Limited. Business Today magazine has named him among the 100 most successful CEOs in the country.

Mr. Chandran is associated with Noble Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus in launching a Social Enterprise in Bangladesh BASF Grameen Ltd. He was also the Chairman of Ciba India Ltd, Cynamide India Ltd, and Pushpa Polymers before they integrated into BASF. He is the Chairman of the Ethics and Governance Committee of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). He is on the Boards of Bosch Ltd and HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company Ltd.

Mr.Sumit Bose, an IAS officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre, superannuated as the Union Finance Secretary (and Secretary, Department of Revenue) in March 2014. He had also served as Secretary, Department of Expenditure and Secretary, Department of Disinvestment as well as Secretary in the Thirteenth Finance Commission in the Ministry of Finance. He was also the Finance Secretary in Madhya Pradesh between 2004 and 2007. After superannuation, he was Member of the Expenditure Management Commission which concluded its work in February, 2016.

Besides his involvement in Government committee work, he is inter alia serving as (i) Vice Chairman, National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi, (ii) Chairman, Board of Directors, Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, New Delhi and (iii) Member, Board of Governors, The Doon School, Dehradun.

Ms. Aruna B. Advani, aged 63, is a Science Graduate (Hons) from University of Sussex and has also done Owners Management Programme from Harvard Business School and Strategic Financial Planning from IIM, Ahmedabad.

She is the Executive Chairman of Ador Welding Limited (AWL). She is associated with AWL for over 39 years and is on its Board since 1999.

She has vast experience in the area of General Management and Strategic Financial Planning.

Dr. Nagarajan Ramamurthy

Dr. Nagarajan Ramamurthy (aged 59 years) is currently Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Madras, and recently stepped down after two terms as the Dean of International & Alumni Relations. He obtained his B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering in 1981 from IIT Madras, and a Ph.D. in the same field from Yale University (New Haven, CT, USA) in 1986. From 1986 - 1988, he served as Research Faculty in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV; during this tenure, he served as coordinator for research projects funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Navy.

From 1988 2003, Dr. Nagarajan was a Senior Technical Staff Member with IBM Storage Systems' Development Laboratory in San Jose, CA, where he oversaw elimination of ozone-depleting chemicals from IBM's manufacturing operations, and directed many ground-breaking efforts in the areas of chemical integration & micro-contamination control for hard disk drives. Dr. Nagarajan returned to Chennai in 2003, and served as G.S. Laddha Visiting Professor at A.C. College of Technology for one semester, prior to taking up his position as Professor at IIT Madras in February 2004. His teaching and research endeavors are focused on cleanroom processes, nano-technology and ultrasonic process-intensification.

From 2009-2012, he served as Advisor, Office of Alumni Affairs at IIT Madras, and from October 2012 - September 2018, as the Institute's first-ever Dean of International & Alumni Relations. In April 2018, Dr. Nagarajan was named as an "Institute Chair Professor" by IIT Madras.

Mr. Venu Parameshwar (aged 58 years) is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Post Graduate diploma in Management from IIM-Ahmedabad. He started his career in Asian Paints (I) Ltd and thereafter worked with Citigroup for twenty years in multiple roles in India, Australia, South Korea, UAE and the UK. His last role in Citigroup was as the Regional Chief Financial Officer for the Europe and Middle East division for the Consumer Bank. He then moved as the CFO of a start up financial services entity - Dunia Group in the UAE from 2010 till early 2018. Mr. Venu has more than 30 years of experience and expertise in Business and Financial Management including Control, Reporting, Taxation, Treasury and Legal.

Mr. Venu is currently the Finance Director of the Wildlife Conservation Society - India and an Advisor to TallyX - a Global blockchain based platform for Trade and Supply chain finance.

Mr. Sameer Goel holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and Bachelor's degree in Economics from St. Stephens College, New Delhi. He started his career in 1987 with GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSK) as Area Sales Manager. In his career with GSK, spanning more than 25 years, he has held various roles in India, UK, UAE, West and South Africa, and was Vice President for Africa when he moved from GSK. Prior to joining Coromandel, he was with Cipla Limited as Country Head - India. He has extensive experience in managing businesses, driving sales across multiple geographies and building B2C businesses.

Mr. Sameer Goel had served on the Advisory Board of Lagos Business School; he was a Member of Africa Economist Forum and a Member of the Commercial Directors Forum in India.
